Terms of Service

Welcome to MyLink (https://mylink.ng), owned and operated by Helpblogger Digital ("we", "us", "our").

These terms are an agreement between you and Helpblogger Digital. By creating an account or using MyLink, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What MyLink is

MyLink lets you create and share:

  • Normal posts: link pages with an image, a message, and Continue and Exit buttons
  • Questionnaires: multi-step forms
  • Typeform-style forms: one-question-at-a-time forms

It also provides templates, short links, and analytics.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.
  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
  • Tell us quickly if you think your account has been used without your permission.
  • One person or business may not create accounts to get around plan limits.

3. Plans and payments

  • MyLink has a free plan and may offer paid plans.
  • Each plan sets limits and features, such as how many posts of each type you can have, which templates you can use, and whether you can show posts on the homepage or edit your header and footer.
  • Prices are shown on the Plan page before you pay. Payments are made online through Paystack.
  • Monthly plans last 30 days and yearly plans last 365 days from the date of payment. One-time plans do not expire.
  • Paid plans do not renew automatically. When a paid plan ends, your account returns to the free plan.
  • If you move to a plan with lower limits, your existing content stays, but you may not be able to create more or use features that are no longer included. Some options, such as homepage listing, may be switched off.
  • We may change prices or plans. Changes will not affect a period you have already paid for.
  • Payments are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise or we agree in writing.

4. Your content

You own the content you create. By posting it on MyLink, you give us permission to host, display, copy, and distribute it as needed to run the service, including showing it to visitors and creating previews and short links.

You promise that:

  • You own your content or have the right to use it.
  • Your content and links do not break the law or anyone else's rights.
  • You will follow section 5.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use MyLink to:

  • Break any law, including Nigerian law.
  • Share illegal, hateful, threatening, harassing, or sexually explicit content.
  • Share anything that exploits or endangers children.
  • Mislead people with fake offers, scams, phishing, or false claims.
  • Link to malware, viruses, or harmful downloads
  • Collect passwords, card numbers, PINs, BVN, NIN, or other highly sensitive information through forms.
  • Infringe copyright, trademarks, or other rights.
  • Send spam or abuse the service, including automated or fake traffic.
  • Try to break, probe, or overload the platform or other users' accounts.
  • Pretend to be another person or business.

Buttons and links on your posts must lead where they say they will.

6. Collecting information through forms

If you use questionnaires or forms to collect information from other people:

  • You are responsible for following data protection laws, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
  • Tell people clearly why you are collecting their information and how you will use it.
  • Only collect what you really need.
  • Keep the responses secure and do not misuse them.

7. Homepage listing and moderation

  • Only normal posts can be shown on the MyLink homepage and in the sitemap, and only if your plan allows it.
  • Questionnaires and Typeform-style forms are never listed on the homepage or in the sitemap.
  • We may decide not to list, to hide, or to remove any content at our discretion.
  • We may remove content or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or harm others, with or without notice.

8. Our rights

MyLink, including its design, code, templates, and branding, belongs to Helpblogger Digital. These terms do not give you any ownership of it.

You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the platform, except where the law allows.

9. Third-party services

MyLink works with services we do not control, such as Paystack, Google, and the websites you link to. We are not responsible for them. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.

10. Availability

We work to keep MyLink running smoothly, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or secure. We may change, pause, or stop parts of the service, for example, for maintenance.

11. Disclaimer

MyLink is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee any particular results, such as traffic, sales or search rankings.

12. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Helpblogger Digital is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or business.

Our total liability to you for any claim related to MyLink is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to protect Helpblogger Digital from claims, losses and costs that arise from your content or your breach of these terms.

14. Ending your account

  • You may stop using MyLink and delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or if required by law.
  • Sections that should continue after your account ends, such as content permissions, disclaimers, and liability, will continue.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Please read it together with these terms.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above. If you keep using MyLink after a change, you accept the new terms.
